01

Will my Electric Fireplace plug into any standard outlet?

All of our electric fireplaces are designed for easy installation and plug directly into a standard 120V household electrical outlet. No special wiring is required for most models, making them a convenient and cost-effective heating solution for homes, condos, apartments, offices, and renovations. Our plug-in electric fireplaces provide realistic flame effects, supplemental heat, and energy-efficient performance, allowing you to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a fireplace without the complexity or expense of a traditional wood-burning or gas fireplace.

02

How much space will my electric fireplace heat?

Our wall-mounted electric fireplaces and zero clearance electric fireplace models 33-P and 39-P are designed to provide both beautiful flame effects and supplemental heating for rooms measuring approximately 15′ x 20′ (up to 400 square feet). These energy-efficient electric fireplaces are ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, family rooms, offices, and other residential spaces where additional warmth and ambiance are desired.

Our remaining built-in electric fireplace models are designed exclusively to create the look and ambiance of a real fireplace without producing heat. These decorative electric fireplaces do not include a fan or heating element, making them an excellent choice for year-round enjoyment in any room where supplemental heat is not needed.

03

Your Title Goes Are electric fireplaces cost-efficient?

Electricity costs vary by location and utility provider, but electric fireplaces are one of the most affordable and energy-efficient heating options available for your home. On average, our electric fireplaces cost approximately $0.02 per hour without heat and $0.07 per hour when using the supplemental heat function, making them an economical choice for zone heating and targeted comfort.

Electric fireplaces are an excellent solution for reducing energy costs by heating only the rooms you use most, rather than relying on whole-home heating systems. They provide the warmth and ambiance of a traditional fireplace while offering easy installation, low operating costs, and efficient performance.

For comparison, many gas fireplace manufacturers advertise average operating costs of approximately $0.23 per hour, making electric fireplaces a cost-effective alternative for homeowners looking for affordable supplemental heat, realistic flame effects, and year-round fireplace enjoyment.

04

Is it safe to move the fireplace to another location once it is assembled?

Yes, electric fireplaces can be safely moved to another location after assembly, provided they are handled carefully and properly disconnected before relocating. Before moving your fireplace, turn off the unit, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow any heating components to cool completely.

For best results, we recommend having two people move larger wall-mounted electric fireplaces, built-in electric fireplaces, or zero-clearance fireplace models to prevent damage during transport. Always follow the manufacturer’s installation and safety instructions when repositioning your electric fireplace.

Because electric fireplaces do not require gas lines, chimneys, or permanent venting, they offer the flexibility to be relocated more easily than traditional wood-burning or gas fireplaces, making them a convenient heating and ambiance solution for changing room layouts, renovations, and home upgrades.
